Ghana’s Carving Company; Tekura featured on CNN African Start-Ups

In 2015, Tekura was featured as Ghana’s Carving company, a promising local business that was started from a woman’s passion for things made by “hand”. The CNN African Start-Ups crew visited the Tekura and shared the beautiful sights and sounds of the workshop with the world!  They did not just walk away with a beautiful story about a mother and her daughter but had the “Tekura” experience. They got to see the various process that transforms the wood into equisite tables, stools and many more.
