TEKURA is a local family business located in Accra, Ghana. We have grown from producing only traditional handicraft pieces to contemporary African furniture and décor pieces. We are now a growing business in the Ghanaian economy.

Josephine and her husband, Kweku, started TEKURA in 2000 and today it is a thriving business committed to creating employment and being a leader in the reinvention of African artistry and culture into modern as well as functional, high quality products for your home, office, hotel etc.

As an award winning company in the Africa SMME Awards held in South Africa in 2008, we are one of the leading exporters of handicraft, furniture & décor to the U.S.A and Europe (Germany, UK, Denmark, Spain, France etc) as well as some parts of Africa (Nigeria, South Africa etc)

TEKURA has also made provision for the local Ghanaian market with the opening of its gallery in 2009 which continues to be a success.
